1. Who we are
MindBrightly ("we", "us", "our") is a digital marketing agency and free affiliate program owned and operated by Jasbir Singh (individual/proprietor, not a registered company), based out of SCO 45, Sector 34-A, Chandigarh, 160022, India. This policy explains how we handle information collected through mindbrightly.com, the affiliate dashboard (mindbrightly.com/dashboard), our AI chat assistant, and the MindBrightly Affiliate mobile app.
2. Information we collect
- Contact & enquiry details — name, phone number, email address and message content when you submit a form on our website (service enquiries, course enquiries, or affiliate sign-up interest).
- Affiliate account details — name, email, phone, password (stored encrypted), and referral activity when you register for the free affiliate program via the dashboard.
- Bank details for payouts — account holder name, account number, IFSC code and UPI ID, collected only from registered affiliates solely to process commission payouts.
- AI assistant chats — messages you send to our "Bright" AI assistant widget are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a reply, and a copy is logged on our own server so we can review and improve answers. Do not share sensitive personal information (like bank OTPs or passwords) in the chat widget.
- Analytics & usage data — pages visited, approximate location, device/browser type, and referral source, collected via Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
- Cookies — used for session login (affiliate dashboard), referral-link attribution, and analytics.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries about our digital marketing services, courses, or affiliate program.
- To operate your affiliate account — tracking referrals, calculating commissions, and processing payouts to the bank/UPI details you provide.
- To answer your questions through the AI assistant.
- To understand website usage and improve our content and services (via GA4/GTM analytics, in aggregate).
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-party services we use
- Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — website usage analytics.
- Google Gemini API — powers the "Bright" AI assistant; messages you send it are processed by Google's servers under Google's own API terms.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to contact us via the WhatsApp button, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Google Apps Script — processes website form submissions into our internal lead sheet.
5. Data security
Passwords are stored encrypted (hashed), not in plain text. Bank details are used only for payout processing and are not displayed publicly anywhere on the site. Access to the affiliate admin panel is restricted to authorised MindBrightly staff.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your affiliate account and associated data (subject to any pending/unpaid commission records we're required to retain for accounting purposes) by emailing hello@mindbrightly.com.
7. Children's privacy
Our services and affiliate program are intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of our website, dashboard or app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
