Quotes for the "same" service can range from ₹5,000 to ₹5,00,000 a month. Here's what's actually behind that gap, and what's reasonable to expect for a small or growing business.

Ask five agencies for an SEO quote and you'll likely get five very different numbers, sometimes 10x apart. This isn't usually one agency ripping you off and another being fair — it's that "SEO" or "Google Ads management" means genuinely different things depending on who's doing the work. A solo freelancer working evenings, a boutique agency with a small specialised team, and a large enterprise agency with account managers, strategists and a reporting department are all technically selling "SEO," but the actual scope, attention and deliverables behind that word are worlds apart.
The honest starting point is to stop asking "what does SEO cost" and start asking "what does the specific scope I need cost" — number of keywords, number of pages, competitiveness of your industry, and how quickly you need results all change the number significantly.
For a small or mid-sized business in India working with a legitimate, properly-staffed agency (not a one-person freelancer, and not a metro enterprise retainer), reasonable 2026 monthly ranges look roughly like this: SEO runs ₹15,000-₹60,000 depending on competitiveness and scope; Google Ads management fees run ₹10,000-₹40,000, separate from the actual ad spend paid to Google; Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) management runs ₹8,000-₹30,000, again separate from ad spend; and a professional one-time website build runs anywhere from ₹15,000 for a simple site to over ₹1.5 lakh for a custom, feature-rich build.
Content, CRO and link building are usually priced per-project or bundled into a broader retainer rather than sold standalone, since the right amount of each depends heavily on what a business already has in place.
Agencies based in Chandigarh, Mohali and Zirakpur typically price 20-40% below equivalent agencies in Delhi, Mumbai or Bengaluru, mainly because office and talent costs are genuinely lower here — not because the work is lower quality. For a tricity business, this usually means getting metro-level strategy and reporting at a materially lower monthly cost, while still being able to work with clients anywhere else in India entirely online, since none of this work requires a physical presence.
Four factors matter more than anything else when a quote seems unusually high or low: how competitive your specific industry and city are (a Chandigarh dentist and a national e-commerce brand need very different amounts of SEO effort), how many services you're bundling together (a single service is usually costed higher per-service than a multi-service bundle), how much account management and reporting depth is included (a dedicated point of contact and monthly strategy calls cost more than a shared inbox), and how urgently you need results (compressed timelines usually mean more hours, which means a higher price).
Rather than negotiating a custom number for every enquiry, we publish three clear tiers on our services page — Spark, Bright and Prime — so you can see the actual starting price for a single service, a bundled package, or full multi-channel management before you ever get on a call. If your requirement doesn't map neatly to a tier, we'll tell you that honestly and recommend the closest fit rather than upselling a bigger package than you need.
